What kind of drop is it?
Weapons
Check skill scaling, speed, sockets and the build-enabling line.
Armor
Compare resistances, mitigation, sustain and lost set/build effects.
Jewelry
Look for coherent offensive rolls, defenses and hard-to-replace utility.
Relics
Verify the relic effect, storage state and current build interaction.
Runes & runewords
Confirm the current recipe and base before committing materials.
Keys & boss access
Verify the destination, difficulty and expected access cost.
Quest items
Follow the live journal; do not price or discard an active objective.
Season mechanics
Cross-check Ebontharn patch notes before using an older database.
Read every drop in the same order
- 01Confirm the current season and difficulty. A screenshot without that context is hard to compare.
- 02Identify the base slot and class restrictions before looking at flashy affixes.
- 03Read the unique power or build-enabling line, then the ordinary stat rolls.
- 04Check sockets, upgrade state and whether the item solves a resistance, damage or sustain problem.
- 05Compare against what the build actually loses when the slot changes; a higher-looking number is not automatically an upgrade.
The searchable index is a decision aid, not a complete dump of current game files. Season 10 added 24 unique items, so stale databases can miss new drops.
Keep, list or move on?
| Signal | Likely action | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Enables a known skill or mechanic | Keep or price-check | Build-enabling effects can matter more than raw sheet damage. |
| Strong rolls that align on one archetype | Compare listings | Coherent rolls are easier for another player to value. |
| Useful base, weak or conflicting rolls | Use temporarily | It may bridge progression without being a premium trade. |
| Old-season screenshot or unknown patch | Re-verify | Names and values survive longer than balance context. |
Where to verify an unfamiliar item
- Use the in-game tooltip as the current source of truth for the exact item in your inventory.
- Use Tarethiel Market for comparable current-season listings, matching base, rolls and sockets.
- Use official patch notes for additions and reworks; use community databases for discovery, then check their season label.
- Ask for a second opinion with a full tooltip screenshot and the build/class context—not just the item name.
Questions players ask
Is this a complete Hero Siege item database?
No. It is a current-season inspection and routing guide. It avoids pretending a static list is live game data.
Are unique items always valuable?
No. Demand depends on the season, class builds, the exact rolls, sockets and available comparable listings.
