Build brief completeness
0/8
01
What belongs in a shareable build brief
- Class, season, level and current difficulty.
- Primary damage skill and the mechanic that scales it.
- Defensive plan: capped gaps, sustain, mitigation and movement.
- Two or three key items, plus which slot is still blocking progression.
- Ether and Incarnation priorities with a screenshot of the relevant branch.
02
Use gates, not a copied endgame picture
| Gate | Ready when… | If it fails… |
|---|---|---|
| Normal → Nightmare | Campaign route is complete and basic defenses are stable. | Finish missing waypoints and replace dead gear slots. |
| Nightmare → Hell | You can clear packs without repeated one-shots. | Trade some damage for resistance, sustain or movement. |
| Hell → Inferno | Boss attempts are consistent, not lucky. | Review mechanics and coherent item rolls. |
| Act 8 → Ebontharn | Odin is defeated. | Confirm Act 8 completion and the active quest state. |
FIELD NOTE
The Ebontharn unlock is official. Exact numerical thresholds vary by class, patch and build, so this planner deliberately uses observable readiness signals.
03
Run the same review after every wall
- 01Name the failure: damage, survival, sustain, mobility, mechanics or route knowledge.
- 02Change one subsystem at a time so the result is readable.
- 03Test against the same kind of content, not a friendlier area.
- 04Record the result and the next constraint before spending more currency.
