- 01Enter Hell and complete the campaign route through Mevius for the tier you are trying to farm.
- 02Return to the world map after the kill rather than searching for a permanent dungeon entrance.
- 03Look for the special visual above the currently affected zone.
- 04Read every active buff and debuff before entering; the rotation can change the correct farming choice.
- 05If a higher Hell tier still shows no usable zone, clear its required Mevius progression and re-open the map.
The Mevius gate is a recurring current community report. The official wiki confirms the world-map marker and hourly rotation but does not document the unlock sequence on its Satanic Zones page.
Understand the hourly rotation
One zone receives a rotating combination of benefits and penalties. When the affected map contains a dungeon, the official wiki says the dungeon inherits the same modifiers. A route that is excellent this hour can be unsafe or irrelevant in the next.

If the Satanic Zone is missing
- Verify that Mevius was defeated in the current progression state, not only on another character or tier.
- Check the world map marker; the active zone is not a fixed location.
- Re-open the map after the hourly rotation instead of repeatedly resetting one area.
- In co-op, compare the host and guest unlock states.
- On console, a missing modifier panel may be an interface issue even when the zone itself is active; record platform, patch and a screenshot before reporting it.
Treat modifiers as a package
Do not enter only because one buff matches your target. Resistance loss, extra enemy life or another dangerous penalty can erase the reward through slow clears and deaths. Compare the complete modifier package with your build and intended run time.
